Last weekend i trained a new technique for making hats i learned from my german friends, so far it works very well and i'm improving.... here a Guide de Bonaparte and a republican fantassin... im thinking to add the bodies to them...
Austrian Hussars now available for sale !!!
The first set of "Armies" is ready for sale !!!! The sets consists in 8 mounted figures, in 2x4 poses, which are casted from the same masters of their resin counterparts: only one figure is different . The detail quality is the same of the resin ones, thanks to the experience of Meister Schilling. Soon will follow the french lancers and some command figures. this set is very useful for war gaming purposes .
SPARE HEADS IN PRODUCTION
44 spare heads are in production now, hopefully for sale in April, they belong to the french army and cover different units and periods of the era, they will be divided in different packages per unit with some multiple copies per head. They are in metal . will follow some allies sets which can be used well with french army bodies.

Here some 40 spare heads related to different headgears of the french army, it is amazing how many differences you can find in the years . These will be sent soon for casting and i will do more of them.
Hat Austrian Grenadiers
Waiting from my first sets to come, i got back in time when i was only painting, and i enjoyed this time. Now something about this set: it is definitively not the HAT standard. I believe is made for fast painters, probably very easy with black priming, but not very fancy for detail painters, the undercuts fillings are really taking away a lot of details, like in the shoulders where the greatcoat is, and the flesh very difficult to take away so i gave up and painted them with it on.
I think i did my best and after all the effect is no too bad, Hat forgiven though .......
Austrian Hussars Skirmishing Masters
Here a trio i always wanted to do : Mounted Hussars shooting their guns, i made 3 typical poses : picking the cartridge, hammering the ball and shooting, for this last one i will add the bridles. Hope you like them.
Neapolitan Mounted Generals
Here the painted test shots of the Neapolitan mounted Generals, soon available for sale; the horses are sculpted with interchangeable saddle clothes so it is possible to add many variations of the uniforms, these miniatures are also suitable for other armies uniforms.
Murat King of Neaples Limited Editions
Here the painted test cast of the second Limited Editions of Franznap Miniatures, King Murat depicted as King of Neaples, i used the horse from the Gros painting, and the uniform from other prints of his time in Neaples, you can see he is wearing mustaches, as i found in the portrait from the time 1812/14

Austrian Cavalry Artillery Pack Horses
Finally the painted test shots of this great set : it will be ready for sale within Christmas , two pack horses, one without the pack cover (as separate piece) for let the collectors enjoy to paint the ammunition bags. Complete the set a mounted Fuhrweser , and an artilleryman opening the ammunition pack.
Marechal Davout
Here the rough photos of Davout, i made for the french forum Addict Figurines, as 1st anniversary of the forum. it will be produced as Limited Editions in copies numbered and signed, 100 will be available by the forum, 30 copies will be available in our webshop.
Baden Infantry
Trying to fulfill the expectations of a german friend, i approached this first test of a Baden infantryman, i suppose that they wore long overalls on campaign, i tested also the headgear, which in my sources must have been shorter than the Jager ones.

Spare heads test
I tried some dimensional test with a beautiful Zwezda grenadier body, here the result with some of the already realized heads; it is funny but the headgear was a part of the uniform which could variate so much, if we trust see the many sources sources of the Napoleonic era...

French Pontonniers
I started to sculpt the french pontonniers, which can fit with for example Hat pontoons....
here the first two figures, i'm experiencing for the first time part of human anatomy to sculpt....
